this is us...

I have been behind on all the happenings in our lives. Life has been really good and busy. In the middle of sick kids, ER visits, weddings, poop on the floor, and whining we are still all alive. We took the kids out for a over zealous day a few weeks ago and went to the zoo and to the REAL game. They loved the monkey's and the elephants at the zoo and of course chloe was trying to eat any leftover candy off the ground. At the soccer game Tate kept crying because everyone was screaming and he was pretty out of it, but once and a while would point and say "ball".

Last weekend we went river rafting in Moab with the family and it was fun but tiring. Watching 2 year olds in a non contained space makes me want to scream. They had so much fun with their cousins just getting dirty. We got some nice rapids and finished the day trip in 3 hours! Last time it was more like 5 or 6.

chloe and tate have been so fun lately, they talk to eachother a lot now. They always great eachother when they come in the room, "Hi, Tate!" Tate can't really say Chloe yet so he calls her tay tay too.

We went and played soccer this morning. I seriously only played for 30 minutes and I am so exhasted, I could lay in bed all day. It's kinda sad. Everyone is sleeping right now, kind of peaceful. Off to California tomorrow for another rafting trip.

Chloe at Grandma's house

Chloe loves to discover all things dirty. I was trying to get some photos for a Matilda Jane promo and she wouldn't have it, but I love the yummy backlight on this photo. She is just so fun lately.

My little Chloe

Oh how I absolutely adore this little girl. She has been so stinkin' cute lately. She is talking a lot more and and is always telling Tate, "No, No Tay Tay". She understands so much and can go and get me a diaper and wipes now! She also has been more snuggly which is grand, she puts her head down on my shoulder and pats me on the back.

She is growing so fast which explains all the sleeping. She sleeps usually 14 hours a night and then takes a 3 hour nap. Gotta love that!

The good ol' times...

So, here is a picture I borrowed from Felice Austin. I love this picture. We are sitting on Grandma's porch eatin' PB&J. I remember those times, so fun and so simple. I miss the days when I didn't think too much, when I just enjoyed whatever was thrown at me and made the best of it, when I didn't care what people thought, you know.... being a kid.

Finally....

Here are some pictures of Europe for everyone who has been asking. Now that I finally am looking at my pictures I am realizing it was all worth it. I think I kind of had a bad taste in my mouth right after the trip because our dollar was so bad and I hate feeling ripped off! It was all worth it, what an adventure! We saw so much in so little time. I am just so thankful that we were able to go on this trip and that our family was willing to help with our kids.

Brothers & Sisters

I have the best brothers and sisters ever. This was recently taken at the twins baptism in California. We got some hilarious pics of all of us, but this was the best one of us. I just am so thankful to have amazing brothers and sisters. They all inspire me in different ways. How did I get so lucky.

I just took a 3 hour nap! I haven't taken a nap for about a year probably. congrats to me....

This is the design for our family book for this year. I love the design. I bought this template from CG designs. It was so easy to drop my pictures in. It is a 5x5 book from asuka book and I am getting it any day now!

My man Tate

This is Tate today at Grandma's house. Easter dinner was fabulous. It was great that my Bday fell on Easter, I didn't have to cook or clean today! I just got to spend some time with family. I loved the weather today too! It was so beautiful. I just had to take advantage of the beautiful light and capture Tate exploring their huge backyard. He had a field day with Dirk the family dog and wouldn't leave him alone. Tate was especially sweet today. I cannot believe how many pictures I got of him today looking at me! Anyone who knows Tate just loves him from the first second, he is so loving and fun.

Chloe's new "pretty"

This is Chloe's new "pretty" we got off of Etsy. I love it! She doesn't leave clips in her hair very well, but she liked this one because I kept telling her she was pretty. Then all day she kept pointing at it and saying "pretty". She is so pretty. I love my little Chloe. She has been so happy and just adorable lately. I love how everyday she has a new word. She said pretty today and apple yesterday. Tomorrow I am hoping for the word excellent or something.

New found love...

My kids are now obsessed with getting up on the counter and now they have found the sink. So, I just let them play in the sink today and they were so happy. Since we don't take them out much anything different is exciting to them. Then there is this picture of chloe, she is "blowing" me a kiss. How stinkin cute is that! Tate is sick today and it has been a really LONG day. I totally don't feel like being productive at all. I can't wait for warm weather! I am going to go on a walk everyday! Okay, at least once a month... I am shootin' high here.
